way. With proper preparation test are a breeze. (All of our methods are
tried and true. We guarantee results if followed properly.)
Say you have just been told that an important test in one week away.
This is what you should be doing to avoid stress and cramming and to improve
your scores.
 | Review your notes. Start with the main points before you return to
reviewing the material in detail.
|
 | Set up a comprehensive schedule so that you know what information you will
be reviewing each night, and know that you can cover everything in that time
period.
|
 | Listen closely to the teacher's clues as to what may be on the test,
e.g., which chapters to cover.
|
 | Never assume that something won't be on a test and ignore it for that
reason.
|
 | Be sure you know what type of examination it will be, e.g. essay
questions, or true or false. If you're in doubt, don't hesitate to ask
your teacher. |
Now that you are well prepared it is time to write the test. Follow
these basic guidelines:
 | Do the easy questions first. This means questions that you can answer
quickly.
|
 | Do the questions that require more time and or are worth more marks next.
|
 | Now do the remaining questions.
|
 | Read over you test twice. The first time look for obvious errors and on
the second run-through, be more thorough and look for more subtle mistakes. |
It's that easy!
